MudPaint Furniture Paint is a Unique Clay Based Paint with a Smooth Matte Finish
MudPaint is eco-friendly, LEED-compliant and it’s unique, clay-based formula with natural earthen materials requires little prep work. MudPaint’s 39+ colors can be mixed together to achieve your own custom blends. It is easy to use, fast drying, and adheres to any surface. It has great coverage that makes it so most customers only need to use one coat. A little goes a long way! And it needs no waxing for a smooth coat. MudPaint works great for distressing and aging as well as on pieces where a smooth and sleek finish is desired, like when painting mid-century modern.
Meet our new Sky blue furniture paint color! It’s a wonderful new addition to the MudPaint line — a very light, nearly neutral blu-ish white. Far more neutral than either our aqua-colored Mist, or our “fully blue” Suede Blue, Sky has just a hint of cobalt overtones which gives it a nod towards the blue spectrum. This new oh-so light blue paint color is sure to be a new MudPaint favorite!
Suede Blue is a dusty, light baby blue furniture paint shade. More distinctly blue than our Mist, and yet managing to be brighter and less gray than our Newport, Suede Blue is a perfect, soft, light baby blue with just the slightest hint of gray.
Newport is a medium blue-gray furniture paint color. Not as dark as our new Storm, less azure and bright than Bluebird, more gray than our Suede Blue, yet more subtle and less bright than our Catalina, Newport has the perfect balance of dark+light and warm+cool. Newport has a healthy addition of gray tones. This brings a depth to the blue that makes Newport a gorgeous light blue gray color.
Storm is dark and magical; moody and interesting. It has the mysterious feature of taking on different color hues in different lighting. It has hints of dark metal blue and dark steel gray, making it an exciting choice for a darker neutral. Storm is darker than our Newport, has more metal gray than Deep Navy and more gray/blue than Charcoal.
Bluebird is a bright and happy azure blue. It is playful and fun and works great for both folk/boho styles, as well as mid-century pieces. It is a brighter azure blue than Newport and more vivid than Catalina.
Catalina is a bright medium royal blue color. Catalina is more overtly royal blue than Newport, not as vivid and bright as Bluebird, yet not as dark, deep and moody as our Deep Navy. MudPaint’s Catalina is a straight, bold, bright and true royal blue.
Deep Navy is our classic dark navy blue. It is a bold, inky blue that reminds us of pea-coats and men’s pinstripe suits. MudPaint’s Dark Navy blue is not as gray as our Storm, darker and moodier than our Catalina, yet stays away from the overtly “black” of our Charcoal. Deep Navy is a traditional navy blue hue.
