Make your dining room look more modern with paint and fabric
These matching Louis XVI style dining chairs upholstered in the same vintage velvet were amazingly bought from 2 different sources. The armed chairs were already painted but the armless ones were not. We painted the armless chairs, then applied a glaze to highlight the beautiful carving, to make them coordinate with the painted chairs. After that they were reupholstered in coordinating fabric instead of matching. This also gives them a more modern look. The seat fabric is a durable, stain and moisture resistant fabric. The back fabric is also stain resistant!
